Me Bags-All of the class introduced themselves with their "Me Bags." (7 things that tell about them)
Math-We are working on rounding and place value. We are also writing numbers in standard, expanded and word form.
Science-The last two weeks we've been learning about Science Safety. Today we have a Lab Experiment with the whole 4th grade called, "Baking Soda Explosion!"
Tickets-Our class has something called tickets. If we are good we earn tickets and win cool prizes during the raffle at the end of the month.
Social Studies-We have been using the Junior Atlas books to learn about geography and the different parts of an atlas.
Reading-We took some tests at the beginning of the year and we are learning about QAR questioning. The questions are literal and inferential questions. There are "Right There" questions, "Putting It Together" questions and "Author and Me questions." We are reading articles about Extreme Sports to answer these questions and watching short YouTube clips of white water rafting, extreme skiing, BASE jumping and Extreme motorcross. FUN!!
