The Max and Chris blog!

First, we are talking about Harriet Tubman. We are reading the books, Freedom Train and Harriet Tubman. We are watching the videos of Harriet Tubman, working on group activities, vocabulary, as well as reading the books!
Next, we will talk about math. In math we are learning about fractions. We just finished learning about time and temperature.
In science we are researching birds for our bird unit. We are having a lot of fun with it!  We published our bird expository papers last week and will type our narrative papers next week.
In Social Studies we are learning about the Civil War. We are getting with partners and taking notes on are assigned projects. We “the kids” are making a test on the Civil War.
In gym we are starting bowling! On April 25th we will start roller skating, so get that $6.00 in!!
The book fair is overL. That stinks. There were a lot of good things there especially the books. It was AWSESOME!
In read-aloud we are finishing Someone Named Eva! It is very sad but interesting.
