Week of 2/21

Hope you enjoyed your long weekend!  Here's what's coming up for our short week.

Reading: Saguaro Cactus

Math:  Short test over 14.1-14.4 and 15.1-15.3 math lessons:  basically: mean, median, mode, range, reading graphs, and two short-answer problems that you have to make the chart for. (14.2)

Spelling:  FOCUS words test Thursday.  It's on Spelling City and you have handouts from throughout the year as well.  If you get 100% on Thursday's test, you do not need to take another FOCUS words test the rest of the year! :)

Science: Human Body power point

Institute Day this Friday, NO SCHOOL!

ISAT's start next week!

Get plenty of rest and eat a healthy breakfast to prepare.  Way to go for the excellent scores the past 3 years!  You should be proud of all your hard work!

Chase and Brooke will fill in the rest of the news in their post.

Adios,
Mrs. Schroeder

Update after the Storm!

Hi everyone!
Well, the "Storm of the Centry" is over and we're all cleared-out!  The two snow days set us back a little so we have a slightly new schedule:

Both the Science quiz and math tests will be moved to Monday.  Please study your science study guide and look over Chapter 18 Review and Extra Practice worksheet you did Tuesday.  Focus your review on perimeter, area and volume. Also the perimeter and area of complex figures.

Hopefully I'll see you tonight at the Winter Carnival.  I'll be in the Cake Redemption Room from 5:15-6:45:)
